Who attends UX New Zealand?

Our attendees are a diverse bunch: designers, researchers, developers, consultants, senior managers, decision-makers and students from a wide range of technology, design, marketing and digital backgrounds. They come from a range of organizations; from large enterprises and Government departments, to agencies and freelance consultants.

What is UX New Zealand?

UX New Zealand 2021 is a three-day event for anyone wanting to find out more about their users and how to build engaging experiences. With one day of hands-on workshops and two days of talks from UX leaders, there's something for everyone! The talks will be a mix of virtual presentations and live chats.

What is your cancellation, refund and COVID 19 Policy?

If the 2021 event is cancelled due to COVID-19 restrictions all registered delegates will receive a refund of their registration fee or have the option to transfer their registration to the 2022 event. If you purchased an in-person ticket but wish to change it to a remote ticket a refund will be offered for the difference in ticket prices. If New Zealand is in COVID- 19 alert level 3 or 4 the event will be postponed to back up dates in early 2022, in alert level 2 the event will be fully remote, and in alert level 1 the event will proceed as planned.  

If you need to cancel your ticket and cancellation is received more than 30 days prior to the conference, the registration fee already paid will be refunded, less a 25% administration fee. If cancellation is received within 30 days prior to the conference, no refund will be given, but you may substitute the delegate's name with another. There is no fee for substituting registrant names.

Any accommodation cancelled within 30 days of the conference will not be refunded.

A hybrid conference, means you can attend in person or from anywhere in the world with an internet connection. We aim to provide an amazing experience for everyone at UX New Zealand! We make it easy to jump in Slack and connect with your peers or ask speakers those burning questions.
