We are conference lovers. Over the years, we’ve attended hundreds of them around the world. In 2015, we set out to turn our wealth of experience as attendees into a world-class event in our home town of Wellington. Today, UX New Zealand is a hybrid event with speakers and attendees coming from around the globe to share their insights. The conference experience kicks off with a full day of immersive workshops, followed by two days of talks.
Conference and workshop tickets are sold separately. Conference tickets gives you access to the main talks on Thursday and Friday. Workshop tickets are only valid for the individual session you select.
Workshops are approximately 3 - 4 hours long, offer hands on experience, and cover a variety of topics including: Leadership, Accessibility, Information Architecture, etc.
Conference talks are spread across two days, averaging 12 talks per day, ranging from 10 - 35 minutes each. This single stream structure means you don't miss any talks and fosters empathy and cross collaboration between roles.
Accessibility, Information Architecture, Design, etc.
Research Ops, Leadership, Content strategy, etc.
Ethics, Inclusive Design, etc.
Marketing, Object Oriented UX, etc.
Facilitation, Data and Analytics, etc.
