Libby Garrett leads design research for IMDb at Amazon (Seattle). She established the UX Research Program at IMDb and lead UX Research for Brand Studio at Google (Mountain View). She is a studio artist at Pratt Fine Arts Center (Seattle), an advisor and lecturer for the Masters in the Creative Process at ELISAVA (Barcelona), and has taught design research at Istituto Europeo di Design (Barcelona) and the Academy of Art University (San Francisco). Formerly an independent Futures Consultant (London, New York, Barcelona), agencies she has collaborated with include PSFK, The Future Laboratory, Protein, Claro Partners and Stylus.
End clients have included Intel, the Intercontinental Hotel Group, Jameson, Havana Club, Google Play, Target, American Express, Samsung and BMW. She studied ecological economic at University of California Berkeley (BS) and the London School of Economics (MSc).
